Infant, Child and Adolescent Immunizations

Who?

Why?

Infants 0-18 months have not developed full immunity from their vaccinations (DTaP, Polio, MMR). Therefore, in order to protect them, we recommend:

  • Have the whole family fully immunized, including aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.
  • Don’t take the baby out in public for at least 2-3 weeks after birth.
  • Don’t let strangers or un-immunized family members touch, hold or breathe on them.
  • Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly.

Insurance/Payment Questions?

Please contact your insurance provider for all immunization benefit information. The Vaccines for Children program offered by the Federal Government covers the cost of the vaccines. An administration fee to cover health department costs is $15 per child per visit.  No additional costs are involved. This administration fee can be waived. No one will be turned away for inability to pay.

Appointments for Immunizations

Immunizations are available by appointment only, throughout the year. Please contact us to schedule an appointment, or for additional information regarding our program and services.

Please Note:  Parent or legal guardian must consent to immunizations for their children under age 18. If someone else is bringing a child in for shots, a note from the parent/guardian is required and must include the parent/guardian signature and date.

Please remember to bring all vaccination records to your scheduled appointment.
